The Evoke 2400B

Nanlux introduces the newest addition to their lighting products with the Evoke 2400B, a 2400W high output Bi-Color LED fixture with a wide CCT range from 2700-6500K, allowing for output equivalent to 10K tungsten or 4K HMI. The Evoke 2400B includes a Green-Magenta adjustment of +/- 80 units that allows for more consistent color in non-standard environments, especially when using it with other manufacturer’s lighting fixtures. Dimming capabilities are from 0-100% with 0.1% increments.

Improving on the Evoke 1200B, which was introduced last year as a most innovative creative lighting tool for cinematographers and gaffers, the Evoke 2400B doubles the lighting output from 1200W to 2400W, while only having a current draw of a nominal 20 amps at 115 volts. Developed by Nanguang’s innovative engineering team, this next evolution of the Bi-Color LED fixtures is sure to be a game changer.

“Based on the proven track record of the Evoke 1200, 1200B and 900c we wanted to create a more powerful version while keeping all the features and tough reliability that our customers know and trust,” said Mark Bender, VP Sales, Nanlux Americas. “We now have the power of about a 10K in a compact, easy-to-power system.”

Developed with professionals in mind, the Evoke 2400B maintains an efficient, lightweight package, weighing in at just over 33 pounds on the light fixture and only 26 pounds on the ballast. The Evoke 2400B will continue to include Nanlux’s proven wired and wireless controlled infrastructures by utilizing built-in Bluetooth, with a 2.4G receiver, enabling it to be controlled by remote control or the Nanlink app.

The control communication infrastructure will continue to offer DMX/RDM, LumenRadio and Wire Control (reserved), in addition to LAN in and out connections that provide access to Art-Net and sACN control protocols, an upgrade to the Evoke 1200B.

As with the 1200B, both the lamp head and power supply are built inside of hermetically sealed structures.  This assembly has earned an IP55 Certificated rating to withstand inclement and extreme weather conditions.

The practitioner acclaimed, simple and intuitive menu remains, with a new interface screen size of 3.5 inches, allowing for easy control and familiarity to existing Nanlux and Nanlite users. As with the 1200B, the unit has 12 built-in customizable effects including: CCT Loop, INT Loop, Flash, Pulse, Storm, TV, Paparazzi, Candle/Fire, Bad Bulb, Fireworks, Explosion and Welding.

The 2400B incorporates an intelligent accessory recognition system using an optical sensing device, and the light fixture is compatible with most of the previous NL mount sized accessories and modifiers.
